Job Description:Our client is looking for a 1st Line Field Engineer to join their Managed Services team in assisting over 20 schools with IT support. You will be visiting different educational trusts, all situated within a 45 minute drive of their office ion North London, a driving licence and access to own car is required (mileage paid). Phone, email and remote support will also be provided to ensure all issues are resolved quickly and efficiently.

Responsibilities: * On-site visits to various schools providing IT support to staff and students* Maintaining, updating and upgrading school's infrastructure* Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues* Install and monitor computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners* Assist with the setup and maintenance of computers and other IT equipment* Monitor and manage user access rights* Research and recommend hardware and software solutions to improve the system* Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems* Assist in the preparation and maintenance of IT documentation

Technical and personable skill requirements:* Understanding of Networking* Active Directory, Backup Solutions* Office 365 management* SharePoint* MDM Setups via Intune or other(s)* Cloud Support - Azure/AWS* Network protocols - DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP* Router/Switch setups, firewall management* Driving Licence / Access to own car

Highly Desired:* Previous experience working in a school/education environment* MSP Experience* Immediate starts

The successful candidate will have great communication skills, confidently and maturely speaking with head teachers / head of departments.
