Pinpoint Resourcing are working with an exciting membership organisation who are seeking an IT Officer for 1st line support to their Head office in Victoria. They have 160 staff based at their modern newly refurbished office a short walk from Victoria Station.

Purpose of role: To promote and deliver user support and issue resolution with focus on building working relationships with colleagues and external parties. Focusing on building working relationships with colleagues and external parties.

Duties:

  • Provides 1st line onsite and remote user support for staff and relevant external stakeholders across desktop, hardware, software, network, and telephony solutions
  • Provides high quality IT Service Desk communication and responses, including timely completion of tickets against the team’s service level agreements, and involving escalation where appropriate
  • Seeks to build working relationships with staff teams and external stakeholders regarding their technology needs
  • Acts as the 1st line of response of the union’s Microsoft 365 packages, including support for the triage process for MS Dynamics issues. Advises users on best practice approaches to Microsoft tools
  • As appropriate, sets up new users’ accounts and profiles, and deal with password issues, troubleshoots systems and network problems, diagnosing and solving user issues
  • Helps support any site-specific tasks or safety checks in conjunction with 3rd parties.

Desirable:

  • Must have extensive experience in a Windows 10/11 professional environment as well as Office 365
  • Office 365 Admin, Sharepoint, Teams and Office 365 applications
  • Ability to troubleshoot end-user desktop hardware and software issues
  • Possess good technical ability and be able to perform a broad range of technical support task

Salary + hours:

  • £38,000 per annum
  • 35 hours per week
