Job Opportunity: 2nd Line Engineer

I am representing an award winning IT MSP who need someone to Join their team to manage the on-site lifecycle of service incidents, requests, and change requests, delivering high-quality services to internal and external partners efficiently.

Experience

  • High-quality on-site support for a highly established financial sector client.
  • Desk-side support for senior executives.
  • Office moves, desktop setup, build, and upgrade.
  • Administering cloud solutions: Microsoft Azure and Office365.
  • Technical background: Office 365, EMS, SharePoint, Active Directory, Windows OS.
  • Financial sector experience with Bloomberg, OMS, and PMS platforms is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3+ years in a similar role.

Duties

  • Resolve incidents and perform scheduled/emergency activities on client sites.
  • Manage the lifecycle of service events.
  • Provide remote/on-site end-user support.
  • Setup equipment for new hires and departures.
  • Research and develop problem solutions.
  • Provide support within Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Maintain end-user services and technical documentation.
  • Support multi-function devices, telephony, and specialized IT equipment.
  • Ensure quick service restoration and minimal business disruption.
  • Participate in change projects and continual service improvement.
