Job Description: We are seeking a 2nd Line Engineer to join our client's engineering team in the vibrant city of London. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to customers, resolving customer issues and taking ownership of service requests.Key Responsibilities: * To provide 2nd line technical support to customers in a timely and efficient manner.* Responding to customer requests and resolving customer issues. * Troubleshooting and diagnosing technical problems.* Identifying, researching and documenting customer issues.* Documenting and escalating complex customer queries.* Working with 3rd party vendors to resolve customer issues.* Providing regular updates to customers on progress of service requests.* Ensuring customer SLA's are met.* Working with the engineering team to resolve complex customer issues.Technical Skills Required:

* Knowledge of Windows operating systems.* Experience with Microsoft Office software.* Experience with networking technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP etc).* Knowledge of hardware components and peripherals.* Knowledge of virtualisation technology (VMware, Hyper-V).* Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues.* Excellent communication and customer service skills.* Ability to work with 3rd party vendors.If you are interested in this exciting opportunity, please apply for immediate consideration and interview.
