We are looking for a skilled DT Technician to support our dynamic Design & Technology department at our school in Merton This role involves providing essential assistance to both teachers and students in the DT workshop, ensuring a smooth and safe learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain tools, equipment, and materials for lessons
- Assist teachers with lesson setup and demonstrations
- Provide hands-on support to students during practical activities
- Ensure the workshop is clean, safe, and fully operational
- Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment
Requirements:
- Experience in a workshop or similar environment
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of DT tools and equipment
- Good organisational and problem-solving abilities
