The End User Computing Specialist position is located in the City of London with a salary range of £65-75k, depending on experience, plus an on-call allowance of £6650.
The role requires 2-3 days of hybrid working in the office based on business needs, with mandatory on-call duties every two months and weekend work four times a year.
Key responsibilities include planning, designing, developing, and launching efficient End User Computing systems to support core organizational functions.
Candidates should have experience with Microsoft technologies, EUC technologies, cloud-based solutions, and familiarity with DevOps principles and scripting languages.
A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience is preferred, along with ITIL V3/4 accreditation and knowledge of Agile methodologies.

Role Purpose & Accountability

Be responsible for planning, designing, developing, and the launch of efficient operation of all End User Computing systems to support core organisational functions; this includes all Projects,Continual Service Improvement, and BAU activities
Application of proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve systems issues to maximise the benefit of the IT environments

Technical Requirements:

Microsoft Technologies including Windows Server, Active Directory and ideally Exchange and/or SQL Server
EUC (Win10, VDI on prem/cloud, profile management, user experience monitoring, endpoint management and security, all M365 technologies)
administration, configuration problem solving and analytical troubleshooting ability in EUC technologies Citrix, Citrix virtual apps, device image creation (SCCM, InTune, Citrix App Layering, Packer) VMware, Citrix NetScaler, Wyse/IGEL
cloud-based solutions (AWS, Azure, Citrix Cloud)
Proven experience of backup/restore packages
DevOps principals and technologies such as Terraform and Ansible, and scripting languages such as Python, YAML and PowerShell would be advantageous
Agile, Kanban methodologies
ITIL V3/4 accreditation
