Role: First Line Support Engineer

Location: Fully Remote

Contract: 3 Months - Outside IR35

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues.
  • Managing incidents efficiently, providing timely updates and communications.
  • Collaborating with third-party vendors to address and escalate issues.
  • Adhering to service management best practices and utilising knowledge base resources.

Essential skills and experience:

  • Proven experience in first or second-line support for Microsoft Windows (10) environments.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory and basic networking principles (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP).
  • Proficiency in laptop setup and configuration.
  • Strong teamwork, problem-solving, and customer service skills.

Desired skills and qualifications:

  • Experience with Microsoft 365 administration (Office, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Online and Intune/Endpoint management.
  • IT certifications (ITIL Foundation, Microsoft MCP, CCNA, CompTIA).
  • Experience working in regulated industries.
  • Previous Contracting experience (Preferred)
