ICT Technician
Location: Hackney
Rate: £185 - £265 per day
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Long Term, Full Time

GSL Education London Branch is seeking a skilled and dedicated ICT Technician to join a vibrant coeducational secondary school and sixth form in Hackney. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing essential ICT support to staff and students.

Responsibilities of the ICT Technician:

Provide technical support to students and staff, ensuring all ICT systems function smoothly.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.
Install, configure, and maintain ICT equipment and software.
Monitor and manage the school’s ICT infrastructure, including servers, Wi-Fi, and printers.
Ensure data security and compliance with GDPR regulations.
Assist with setting up ICT resources for lessons, presentations, and school events.
Deliver regular maintenance and updates to ensure smooth ICT operations.

Requirements for the ICT Technician:

Previous experience in an ICT Technician role, preferably within an educational setting.
Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and network systems.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to assist staff and students effectively.
A proactive and positive approach to work.
