We’re hiring on behalf of a fast-paced Managed Service Provider looking for a confident 2nd/3rd Line Support Engineer to join their growing support team. You’ll provide a mix of remote and onsite support to clients across London, delivering high-quality service across the full Microsoft infrastructure stack.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handling escalated support tickets (2nd/3rd line) from a broad range of clients
- Providing remote and face-to-face technical support
- Maintaining and troubleshooting Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Azure AD, DNS, DHCP, Exchange, and Group Policies
- Supporting hybrid cloud environments and virtualised infrastructure (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Monitoring networks, backups, and security systems to proactively address issues
- Conducting hardware/software installs, upgrades, and system builds
- Supporting disaster recovery, patching, and routine system maintenance
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in a 2nd/3rd line support role, ideally within an MSP or similar fast-paced environment
- Strong skills across the Microsoft Suite - 365, Azure, AD, Group Policy
- Good understanding of networking (LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs)
- Experience with Windows Server 2016/2019/2022, virtualisation (VMware or Hyper-V)
- Familiarity with backup technologies like Veeam or Acronis
- Comfortable communicating with end users and stakeholders, both remotely and onsite
- Passion for learning and keeping up with the latest tech
