Overview:We are now looking for an eager candidate to join us as an apprentice.Â
You will have the opportunity to gain valuable skills, knowledge and experience as you complete a Degree Apprenticeship.Â
Salary: £26,000 per annum.
Main role / Responsibilities [will include but not be limited to]:
- Work on the Helpdesk dealing with customer’s IT issues and ensure helpdesk systems, logs and records are kept up to date.
- Provide an initial analysis and work to provide a first fix for the customer whenever possible.
- Escalate issues and alert a senior member of staff as appropriate.Â
- Be aware of Service Level Agreements and monitor performance against them.Â
- Be able to diagnose technical faults quickly and accurately using the remote access diagnostic tools available.
- Looking at more complex technical issues.
- Be involved of new technology for customer projects.

- Excellent customer facing skills
- Good telephone manner
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows and associated applications e.g., Microsoft Office
- Attention to detail
- Good communication, problem solving and technical writing skills.

Entry requirements:
- A Level 3 qualification in a relevant area in any grade.
Acceptable qualifications include:Â
- Two A levels in one or more similar subject.*
- Level 3 apprenticeship in a similar subject.
- International Baccalaureate at Level 3 in a similar subject.
- BTEC Extended Diploma in a similar subject.
- A work experience route (2-3 years) in a similar subject-related role.
*'Similar subject' relates to areas directly relevant to or commensurate with 'Digital and Technology Solutions'. Typically this would be areas such as but not limited to Level 3 digital apprenticeships, A-Level/BTEC Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, Software Engineering, etc.
Please note: Learners must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level than this apprenticeship in a similar subject.
Salary:
- 40hrs a week / 8am – 6pm, Monday to Friday. [30 minutes for lunch]Â
- Staff work a total of 40 hours a week. Staff are either on an early or late shiftÂ

Future prospects:As an employer we are happy to continue to support learning, this can mean going from Level 3 to Level 4 or above.
