IT Desktop Technician is required by a well established architectural company located near Holborn Station and paying up to 35k. The company which have offices globally are seeking a skilled and proactive Desktop Support Technician to join our dynamic IT team. The role involves providing 1st and 2nd line support for a variety of hardware and software, ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations across the business.

This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with both IT and senior management, working closely to meet the evolving needs of the company's IT functions.Suitable candidates will have a solid understanding of Microsoft systems, troubleshooting Hardware/Software, but most importantly be adaptable and eager to learn.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Experience with hardware troubleshooting (desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices).
  • Proficiency in Windows Desktop Operating Systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other software such as Adobe and AutoDesk.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and escalate issues effectively.
  • Experience with IT asset management and inventory control.
  • Familiarity with Windows networks, Active Directory, and security protocols.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and support users remotely.
  • Knowledge of compliance standards such as Cyber Essentials and GDPR is a plus.
  • Assisting with Administration of the 365 Suite (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Entra)
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
