Role: IT Projects Assistant

Contract: FTC till September 2025

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 FTE *depending on experience*

Location: Central London – 2 days onsite

Reports to: IT Project Lead

 Key Responsibilities

  • Working across various IT projects, performing research, data analysis and administrative tasks
  • Coordinating Technical Assistants via diary management and responding to all related queries
  • Organising and supporting with induction and ongoing training for Technical Assistants
  • Collaborating with the wider project team to provide updates on Assistant availability
  • Organise project meetings, send out invites, take detailed notes and serve as a point of contact for project-related queries
  • Assist with in-room academic readiness checks after AV equipment installations
  • Design, develop, and deliver training sessions to staff and new starts

Essential Skills and Qualifications

Experience:

  • Experience in project coordination or administrative roles, ideally in a higher education setting
  • Familiarity with hybrid learning or educational technology projects
  • Familiarity with Audio Visual equipment
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office, Teams and Zoom

Skills:

  • Strong organisational and time management abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond flexibly to changing demands
