IT Support | 1st/2nd Line Support | Desktop Support | Infrastructure

My client based in Hammersmith are looking to recruit a good all round IT support Analyst, you will provide support to all IT across 1st, 2nd and some 3rd line – this is a great opportunity to progress into a strong all-rounder within IT

As an IT engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining hardware configurations, installing, and supporting software applications, managing network systems, and training staff on correct operating procedures.

To ensure success as an IT engineer, you should have proven experience maintaining mid-scale computer systems, including Windows, Office 365 and some understanding of networks and servers.

Responsibilities:

  • Meeting with the IT manager to discuss system needs.
  • Designing and installing computer hardware configurations.
  • Installing software and networking systems.
  • Troubleshooting network and software issues.
  • Installing high-level software security systems.
  • Training staff on newly installed hardware and software systems.
  • Fixing hardware, software, and networking issues.
  • Responding to general IT requests.
  • Ensuring security software is kept up to date.

Requirements:

  • Technical IT related qualifications e.g. CompTIA A+ and Microsoft certified.
  • Good knowledge of computer hardware systems.
  • Knowledge of mobile devices including Android and IOS.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft OS systems, both desktop and server, basic programming languages, Microsoft Office software.
  • Understanding of networks
  • Ability to project manage.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex software and hardware issues.
