IT & Office Junior, £20-28k - 5 days a week in the office - Must have an IT Qualification or experience working in an IT role

Our client a leading travel agency are seeking an IT & Office junior to assist in providing technical support and advice to users of their IT systems as well as general office duties.

This IT & Office role is based in brand new offices in the heart of Central London and would suit a recent IT graduate or someone looking to further their IT career

IT & Office junior Job duties will include:

  • Act as first line IT support for travel agents.
  • Diagnose and fix straightforward problems.
  • General office duties such as taking deliveries, helping our reception
  • Record all relevant details and information and escalate more complex problems to the IT Manager
  • Install PCs onto designated services and configure them in a standard way to use the network by following documented procedures.
  • Undertake other defined, regular tasks to agreed procedures
  • Become familiar with relevant IT-related procedures and policies (acceptable use, data protection, purchasing etc.).
  • Assist other staff of the department to author documentation as required in support of IT services - this could be procedures or end user documentation.
  • Assist in general customer support activities, answering telephone, email and enquiries in person, using the Service Desk system to track queries and following procedures for resource allocation, peripheral support, distribution of software etc.
  • Undertake various other tasks on an occasional basis at the request of more senior staff in the department, and to a level commensurate with training, knowledge, grade and skills
