QA Engineer - Cloud, Python, TDD/BDD, Postman
6-Month Initial Contract
Primarily remote
£525 (Outside IR35)
I'm currently working on an exciting opportunity for a QA Engineer with a leading energy company to work on a business-critical programme.
Must-haves for the role:
- Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, GCP, containerisation, automation, and orchestration tools.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Expertise in test-driven and behavior-driven development.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, network architectures, storage solutions, and compute resource management.
- Proven troubleshooting skills and ability to perform root cause analysis.
- Experience with test monitoring, logging tools, and frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage complex projects in fast-paced environments.
- Interest in contributing to the IT&D QA community.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools like Locust and API testing tools like Postman.
