Senior IT Technician

NE London

Immediate start - temporary contract to perm.

Interviews w/c 14th October to staer w/c 21st October

Due to the nature of the business, the successful candidate must undertake full Safeguarding vetting and an enhanced DBS check or have a valid DBS transfer service set created.

• To contribute and lead towards delivering the organisation’s digital strategy and

provide technical solutions.

• To provide an effective service including the support of the IT infrastructure & efficient

management and deployment of IT resources.

• To provide a high standard of customer service to all partners

• To be proactive in resolving issues rather than reactive.

Principal Accountabilities

• Maintain/Install learning and office desktops, interactive projectors, printer photocopiers and any other ICT resources ensuring good cable management to provide safe IT working spaces.

• Develop knowledge of the current software’s and cloud platform and create/provide user support and documentation to support learning for all internal partners

• Maintain and develop the IT asset register.

• Produce resource materials to support and promote the use of ICT equipment effectively and safely.

• Ensure all requests are logged, responded to, and resolved promptly, meeting or exceeding departmental SLA’s.

• Ensures efficient and effective technology usage throughout the organisation

• Rapidly respond to developing situations to identify trends and any potential impact on the seamless provision of IT, escalation with third parties as appropriate
