We are recruiting for an experienced LIMS Test Analyst to lead the testing efforts for the integration of a new ICE Order Communications (Order Comms) system with the existing Telepath Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).

The ideal candidate should have an extensive knowledge of NHS workflows, experience with Order Comms and LIMS systems, and expertise in HL7 interfacing and Pathology LIMS scenario-based testing and defect management including overseeing, logging and triaging of test issues raised during test execution.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop test scripts specifically for the integration of ICE Order Comms with the Telepath LIMS.
    • Execute system integration testing (SIT) with an emphasis on verifying order entries, results, and data synchronization between ICE and Telepath.
    • Log, categorize, and manage defects ensuring issues are clearly documented for effective resolution.
    • Regularly communicate test progress, risks, and issues to the project team, ensuring transparency and visibility across all stages.
    • Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation on all testing activities, ensuring it supports project handover and ongoing system maintenance.
