Automation Test Analyst - SC Cleared
Market day rate - Inside IR35
Hybrid Working - 3 days a week in central London/2 days remote
The contract period will be for up to 6 months
Candidates must have current, active SC security clearance (used in last 12 months)
Our government client is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled interim Automation Test Analyst to support the Business Delivery team. This role aims to enhance the quality and efficiency of testing, thereby reducing the need for rework on
critical applications. The primary focus will be on developing and implementing test automation for key systems that support business processes.
Experience required -
- At least 10 years of automation testing experience using a structured approach
- Possess in-depth knowledge of multiple open-source and commercial tools for web, desktop, and API test automation, such as QTP/UFT, Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, TestComplete, etc.
- Demonstrate excellent command of Java/C# and object-oriented programming concepts
- Carry out integration testing and system testing of software; organize and conduct user acceptance and release testing of the software
- Optimal proficiency in test automation tools for both Windows and web based applications
- Strong programming skills in languages like Java, C#, Python or JavaScript to create and maintain automated test scripts
- Experience in designing and implementing test automation strategies tailored to the application architecture
- A proven track record of successful automation testing projects
- Experience with trading systems - Reuters/Bloomberg
- Experience with .NET applications
