Technical Trainer / Technical Specialist – 6 months (likely to extend to 12 months +)
A Global eCommerce business based in London is seeking a Technical Trainer / Technical Specialist to join their team during an exciting period of change, transformation, and modernisation.
Role Overview:
The successful Technical Trainer / Technical Specialsit will play a crucial role in managing the development and delivery of online and hybrid training programmes, in relation to the organisation’s CMS, Search & Merchandising products, and Product Information Management (PIM) systems.
For this role, you will need to have technical background / strong technical knowledge in order to support the business and technical teams / end-users during the implementation process and through go-live. Â
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct requirement gathering and stakeholder management.
- Create training manuals and deliver training sessions to users.
- Provide ongoing support to users, addressing training needs and troubleshooting issues
- Identify gaps in global training content and localise it as necessary.
- Participate in the larger-scale rollouts of new technologies, supporting the modernization program.
- Collaborate with 3rd party vendors and assist in the integration of their solutions.
Essential Experience:
- Strong knowledge of Search and Merchandising products, ideally Attraqt (Fredhopper).
- Experience with Product Information Management (PIM) systems, preferably inRiver and .Net
- Familiarity with Content Management Systems, preferably Drupal, PHP, or StoryBlok.
- Demonstrated ability to create and deliver training content to business users.
- Previous experience in moving systems to the Cloud is a plus.
Contract details:
- Role: Technical Trainer / Technical Specialist
- Duration: 6 months initial
- Rate: £400 - £500 per day (Inside IR35)
- Location: Hybrid role with up to 2 days per week onsite (London)
