Vendor Management Associate  Location: London, Brock StreetLength: 6 monthsRate: From £32.69 p/h (Inside IR35)Hours: 9am-6pm (3 days in office per week).Job DescriptionRole FunctionThe main function of a vendor management associate is to support the execution of daily operational work, coordinate and manage vendor users on our clients proprietary localization tools and to maintain approved vendor resource databases.Job Responsibilities:Operations
  • Support performance management for subset of l10n vendors (monitoring and distribution of KPI readings, triage escalations and action plans to ensure SLAs are met)
  • Help in the design and implementation of scalable framework for standardization of performance management across all vendors
  • Act as vendor management’s POC for operations-related vendor issues both internally and externally (capacity planning, quality or due date escalations, tooling blockers, holiday visibility, special requests/projects)
  • Summarize vendor issue trending for cross-functional consumption, getting involved in l10n programs to represent Voice of the Supplier
  • Support the management and improvement of ‘vendor experience’ (surveys, ensuring key partnership / LocPlat bugs are identified and addressed)
  • Work with LMs and LPMs to setup and manage vendor Workplace groups
  •  Serve as VM POC in each group
  • Map out l10n vendor communication channels and contribute to the ideation of a long-term strategy for communications at scale
  • Liaise with Project Coordinators to triage and solve specific vendor issues
  • Support the establishing and monitoring of vendor/vendor program ramp-up plans
Resource Management
  • Coordinate the onboarding and offboarding of vendor users on our clients proprietary localization tools
  • Coordinate the testing of new vendor candidates to qualify for our clients work
  • Schedule and monitor vendor trainings as determined by onboardings, regular training plans and/or ad hoc needs
  • Maintain a database of vendors and vendor resources
Sourcing & Onboarding
  • Generate leads for potential new vendor candidates
  • Coordinate vetting and testing process for confirmed vendor candidates
  • Prepare proposals for vendor comparison and selection
  • Kick-off and lead supplier registration process for newly selected providers
  • Organize and execute onboarding events to train new vendors
  • Support the establishing and monitoring of vendor/vendor program ramp-up plans
VM Process Documentation
  • Support the creation/maintenance of end-to-end process documentation, i.e. candidate discovery through on-boarding / off-boarding, production
