Finance Business Partner | Global Games Developer | London/Hybrid

The BusinessHarmonic is currently working with a reputable global Games Developer and Publisher in their search for a Finance Business Partner to join their Commercial Finance team and support their network of Gaming studios.

With an impressive growth trajectory achieved organically and through M&A activity, the business is a major player within the Gaming space with multiple studios throughout Europe. With an ever-growing portfolio of chart-topping titles, their games attract tens of millions of users across multiple platforms on a daily basis.

Based out of their creative and vibrant Central London office, this role offers flexibility to work from home for two days a week and regular team social activities. With plans for continued international expansion, they are looking for a skilled business partner to elevate the contribution of FP&A to their portfolio of gaming studios including the development budgets and acting as the first point-of-contact for non-finance stakeholders across their network.

The RoleAs the Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for creating studio budgets to deliver to non-finance Studio Directors. Developing the studios' financial perspective, you must be a clear communicator with experience liaising with senior executives and feel confident to challenge conservative budgets. You shall also have excellent FP&A skills to analyse performance, variance, and create strong commentaries to deliver across the network.

Responsibilities

* Acting as a Business Partner with select Studio Directors to support their needs in a commercially astute manner to assist in commercial decision-making.* Contributing to monthly Studio Trade decks by providing insight and commentary.* Facilitating operational meeting with key studio stakeholders.* Reviewing and validating Outturn forecast assumptions, providing commentary and analysis around any fluctuations to budget/forecast.* Responsible for driving Budgeting and Forecasting activities for dedicated studios, while interfacing closely with your fellow business partners and the FP&A team.* Support Studio Directors in short term strategic planning and the development of success metrics for all new games.* Responsible for FP&A integration and relationship management for studios.* Drive process improvement and lay the foundation for scalable processes that will scale with the strategic growth plans.* Identifying and monitoring risks, opportunities, and efficiencies.* Support continuous improvement of systems, processes, and activities.* Working in collaboration with the Senior Reporting & Analytics Manager and fellow Business Partners.
