Having recently acquired a multi-billion-pound credit card portfolio, the company is entering an exciting phase of growth in 2025 under the guidance of a new CEO. Their mission is to provide innovative consumer finance solutions in collaboration with leading consumer brands. With a team of around 200 employees, including 70 in tech, the company is now looking to expand its product and design team by hiring a talented Product Designer. About the RoleWe’re looking for a Product Designer to lead the end-to-end design of cutting-edge consumer lending products and features. You’ll work across core banking features for multiple brands and platforms (iOS, Android, and web) as well as customer servicing platforms. Your goal will be to elevate the customer experience, optimize lending applications, and contribute to the company’s ambitious growth plans.The company’s product suite competes with industry leaders like Vanquis, NewDay, Monzo, Starling, and Yonder. The real excitement lies in their app innovations. As a Product Designer, you’ll collaborate closely with product teams to ideate, experiment, and deliver solutions that enhance app engagement, reduce churn, and improve personalization and gamification. Your toolkit will include user feedback, A/B testing, customer journey mapping, loyalty programs, and market research. This role is approximately 70% execution and 30% research-focused. About You
  • Experience: 4+ years as a Product Designer, with a proven track record of bringing digital products to market.
  • Delivery: Experience in delivering end-to-end design (from brief to launch) within a cross-functional, iterative environment using quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Specialization: B2C product design experience, ideally within FinTech, payments, credit, or lending products.
  • Inclusive Design: Strong understanding of inclusive design principles and accessibility standards.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in design approaches and methodologies, including low- and high-fidelity prototyping.
  • Problem-Solving: Skilled in defining problems, mapping user flows, prototyping interactions, and overseeing development across various client platforms.
