Sonic Summary

We are seeking a Product Designer for a remote position in the UK, with a contract length of 2 months and the possibility of extension.
The role offers a rate starting from £44.00 per hour and requires 8-10 years of relevant experience in product design.
Candidates must possess strong communication skills, experience in building and shipping applications, and proficiency in Figma with an attached portfolio.
The designer will take ownership of projects, participate in regular stand-ups, and engage in bi-weekly design critiques to enhance quality.
Experience in enterprise, infra, or care tooling is preferred, and the designer should have a consumer-focused mindset to understand product flows.

Product DesignerLocation: UK (Remote)Length: 2 months (Possibility of an extension)Rate: From £44.00 p/h (Inside IR35)Hours: 9am-6pm OverviewWe are looking for an experienced product designer who can take ambiguous requirements and turn them into tangible artifacts and experiences. Give and solicit feedback from other designers in order to continually raise our bar for quality and partner with PMs, engineers, researchers, and content strategists to oversee the user experience of a product from conception until launch.Qualifications/Experience:

Strong communication skills
Experience in building and shipping applications or software,
Demonstrated experience with end-to-end (hybrid UX and UI) product design
Ability to execute visual and interaction details
Demonstrated strategic product thinking and vision
Experience working on Enterprise
Infra or Care tooling preferred

Top 3 must-have hard skills:

Mandatory figma experience – with attached portfolios
Strong communication skills – has worked remotely and can provide status updates
Need 8-10 years of relevant experience
Strong craft skills
Values design and details (Product designer UX/UI combined)

A typical day in the role:

Projects – will have full ownership of projects
Tight routines – stand up on Mondays on goals, mandatory design critic on Thursdays every 2 weeks
Frequent updates throughout the week and being proactive
Understanding XFN needs
Consumer-focused role – understanding the product area and the flows
