Sustainability has never been so stylish or so accessible!This is a ladieswear knitwear position, so being an "expert" in knitwear design, technicality and quality is essential. Senior Knitwear Designer - The Role:

  • Long lead sourcing experience is desired
  • Ability to forecast trends through the use of utilising different platforms, shows, social media and catwalks
  • Feeding the wider product teams with key shapes, silhouettes, fabrics, trims and colour palettes for the season
  • Back styles and key trend items for the season
  • Be passionate about your vision when presenting
  • Attend national and international shopping trips and trade shows and markets for latest fabrics and trims
  • Monitor the competition on a daily basis for their newness and product execution
  • Find and innovate new styles whilst collaborating with your Buyer daily
  • Work closely to your Buying and Merchandising team to protect best sellers whilst driving newness
  • In every design you produce, emulate the brands key values and handwriting
  • Understand the consumer and design to each consumer profile
  • Review fit sessions with your Buyer and Garment Tech, ensuring your designs are brought to life correctly and to the best standard
  • Visit all suppliers to build and maintain relationships
  • Work closely with key suppliers for tech packs and sample management
  • Attend supplier meetings and trips for new development packs ahead of a season
