Description
- Lead the design process for womenswear products
- Partake in inspirational shopping trips around the UK and Europe
- Collaborate with the retail team to ensure product designs align with brand image and customer expectations
- Directly manage a team of junior designers, providing guidance and feedback
- Regularly conduct market research to stay current with fashion trends
- Present design concepts and final products to senior management
- Work closely with the production team to ensure design feasibility
- Oversee the creation of tech packs and design specifications
- Ensure the successful execution of designs from concept to production
Profile
A successful 'Womenswear Designer' should have:
- Experience designing womenswear jersey multi-product
- Proven experience in a womenswear design role, and must have experience working within a fashion supplier
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to work in a team
- Excellent knowledge of fashion trends and design principles
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite
- A creative mindset and a strong attention to detail
