A specialist school in Hammersmith and Fulham seeks an inspirational and creative Teacher of 3D Design & Design Technology for students with dyslexia and related specific learning difficulties (SpLD). Responsibilities of the Teacher of 3D Design & DT:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and accessible 3D Design and DT lessons tailored to students with dyslexia and SpLD.

  • Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment where students feel confident exploring their creativity.
  • Support students in developing practical skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Collaborate with SEN specialists and support staff to enhance student engagement and progress.
  • Assess, monitor, and provide constructive feedback to help students achieve their full potential.

Requirements for the Teacher of 3D Design & DT:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant DT/3D Design teaching experience.
  • Passion for working with students with dyslexia and SpLD, using creative teaching strategies to enhance learning.
  • Strong understanding of adaptive teaching methods and assistive technologies.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students through hands-on, project-based learning.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service or a willingness to apply for one.
