A Commercial Catering Engineer is required for a client who is based on the South Coast near Brighton, they are a leading commercial catering equipment company supplying the catering, hospitality, and public sectors. They offer full turnkey solutions to all clients carrying out service, maintenance, repairs, and installations on all types of commercial catering and refrigeration equipment. This role has come up due to continued demand and new contracts starting.

The Commercial Catering Engineer will be required to provide service, maintenance, and breakdown of catering equipment, including, fryers, ovens, microwaves, and steamers. The Commercial Catering Engineer will attend sites across South East London and Northern regions of Kent, on sites such as restaurants, hotels, schools, and bars. The commercial catering engineer must have Comcat qualifications, such as Comcat 1,3 and 5. They will also accept engineers who have electrical catering experience.

Commercial Catering Engineer Position Overview

As a Catering Engineer, you will be carrying out maintenance, repairs, and fault finding of Catering equipment e.g. restaurant, hotel, school, and pub catering appliances including cook line equipment and ware washing. Experience with Rational and dishwashers would be an advantage.

Commercial Catering Engineer Position Requirements
  • Comcat 1,3 and 5 - desirable
  • Minimum experience working on electrical catering
  • Live within South/South East London or Northern region of Kent such as Dartford
  • The successful candidate must have Commercial Catering Equipment industry experience
  • Experience in electrical and gas catering equipment repair & maintenance.
  • Experience with Rational and dishwashers would be an advantage.
  • Full UK driving licence
Commercial Catering Engineer Position Remuneration
  • £43-46k depending on experience
  • 40-hour week
  • Door to door travel paid
  • 1 in 6 weeks call out rota and paid retainer
  • Company Van, personal use and fuel card
  • Overtime - 1.5x & 2x
  • 21 days holiday rising to 25 days after 3 years' service plus bank holiday
