An engineering company in Colchester are looking for an assembly operative to join them as soon as possible!
There would be the option of either working on the late shift of 2pm - 10.30pm Monday to Thursday & 1pm till 6.30pm on a Friday or the early shift of 06:00-14:00 Monday to Thursday and 06:00-13:30 on Friday.
They are offering a starting salary of 12.53ph + shift allowance which varies depending on which shift you choose. If you have worked within assembly before or have used power tools and are available immediately then please get in touch!
This is an ongoing temporary role, with potential for it to be extended depending on workload. If you are available immediately please get in touch.
Assembly Operator Duties:
- Assembling metal parts using tools
- Operating machines as needed
- Sticking to health and safety policies
- Moving and lifting of metal
- Ensuring products meet company standards
Full product training will be provided, but the successful candidate will have some level of manufacturing or metal working experience in order to be considered, and be able to work from technical drawings.
The role is quite physically demanding as you will be working with big pieces of metal. You will also need to have your own transport or live locally due to the hours of the role.
