Are you an organised individual with a keen eye for detail? Do you thrive in a dynamic environment where every document matters? If so, I have the perfect opportunity for you! Our client, a leading player in the construction and interior fit-out industry, is seeking a Document Controller to join their dedicated team. This is a permanent, full-time role with an annual salary of £35,000 .

About the Role: As a Document Controller, you will play a vital role in managing project information using our specialist document control system, Deltek PIM. You'll work closely with various departments, ensuring that all documents are accurately stored, updated, and distributed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Senior Document Controller in managing document control across all sites.
  • Troubleshoot any Deltek PIM issues raised by staff.
  • Upload and download the latest construction information to the DLM.
  • Distribute information across teams and project sites, ensuring everyone is using the latest revisions.
  • Regularly review and maintain each project's Document Management System (DMS) and Document Log Management (DLM).
  • Identify and merge duplicate organisations and contacts in the system.
  • Ensure appropriate storage of both hard and soft copy materials.
  • Support the team with any additional matters that arise.
  • Assist in controlling drawings and correspondence between the project team and external parties, ensuring prompt distribution of updates.

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in document control and familiarity with document control software systems.
  • Excellent IT skills and strong administration capabilities.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
  • A proactive, can-do attitude, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of Deltek PIM is advantageous, but they offer full training for the right candidate! �?

Hours of Work:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
  • This role is office-based, with regular visits to site required, giving you a comprehensive understanding of our projects. �??
