About the Role:At Foster + Partners, we are seeking a skilled Document Controller to join our dynamic Drawing Office team. In this role, you will ensure smooth communication and the efficient flow of project information. You'll play a key role in managing document exchange, supporting contract milestones, and maintaining our high standards of accuracy and efficiency. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside senior professionals and make a significant impact on the success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:As a Document Controller, you will be responsible for efficiently registering and processing project correspondence, scans, drawings, reports, and schedules. You will ensure the timely issuance of documents to clients and contractors through Newforma, both electronically and in hard copy. Supporting the team with the coordination of consultants' drawings, submittals, and RFIs (Requests for Information) will also be key, alongside maintaining accurate documentation of project milestones in the Newforma Project Centre.

Skills & Experience:

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in document management systems (Newforma, Extranet sites, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments while maintaining a methodical approach.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work with internal and external teams.
  • Flexible and adaptable with a proactive attitude.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A self-motivated individual who takes initiative and remains calm under pressure.
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to set and meet deadlines.
  • A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and managing sensitive information.

Desirable:Experience with Extranet sites such as Biw, Acconex, Buildonline, Hummingbird, and A-site is a plus.
