HL Display is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mould Technician/Setter to join our team. As a Mould Technician/Setter, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and quality of our moulding operations.
This role can be offered on a day or night shift basis and the hourly rate will be linked to the shift type.
Responsibilities:
- Perform mould tool and insert changes with precision and efficiency.
- Conduct tool trials to evaluate and optimize moulding processes.
- Continuously work on optimizing the moulding process to improve productivity and quality.
- Hit and maintain cycle times to meet production targets.
- Monitor and maintain the quality of moulded parts to meet our high standards.
- Conduct daily safety checks on moulding machines and ancillary equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
- Complete required paperwork such as setting sheets accurately and in a timely manner.
- Train and provide guidance to operators as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Set up ancillary equipment such as dryers, water heaters, and robots for efficient production.

We employ people from all walks of life and with a wide range of work experiences. To succeed in this role we are looking for the following skills and experience:
- Knowledge of Sandretto and Negri Bossi moulding as well as Sepro robots machines an advantage.
- Ability to work under own supervision when needed with a small team.
- Strong technical skills in moulding processes, tool changes, and equipment setup.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize processes to improve efficiency and quality.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures related to moulding operations.
