Arthur is working with a Global Insurance company who is hiring and Assistant Underwriter to join their Aviation team. This role presents an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual that is keen to advance their career and take the next step in underwriting.Daily responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative and processing support to underwriters to ensure efficient team operations, including handling delegated business from coverholders.
  • Address mid-term queries from brokers and internal stakeholders promptly and professionally, delivering quality service within authority limits.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with brokers, third-party providers, and other external partners.
  • Ensure accurate and timely accounting of risks, exposures, and premiums in the company's policy administration and documentation systems.
  • Support underwriting, actuarial, and modelling teams by assisting with pricing models.
  • Prepare financial analyses and reports to support the underwriting team.
Prior experience in insurance within an underwriting or underwriting operations role is essential - Aviation experience is advantageous but not essential.
