We have partnered with an Insurtech business in their search for an Assistant Underwriter. Our client is aiming to bridge the gap between lenders and the insurance ecosystem.

The Role: As an Assistant Underwriter, you will work on a variety of complex transactions, including single-name obligors, corporate credit securitisations, synthetic risk transfers and bespoke portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:- Build and strengthen relationships with key brokers and clients to secure long-term business partnerships. - Contribute to innovate marketing and distribution strategies to attract and secure profitable business. - Conduct in-depth analysis of financial statements, bank memos, management accounts and cash flow statements to assess corporate risks.

Qualifications: - ACA qualified or equivalent- Ideally 1-2 years post-qualified experience - Entrepreneurial mindset, keen attention to detail and a passion for finance- Proficient in MS Office and knowledge of programming language
