Marine BrokerWe are seeking an experienced Marine Broker to join our dynamic team at a leading global brokerage in the City of London. The successful candidate will be responsible for placing and managing Hull and Machinery risks for a diverse international client base. This role involves working closely with underwriters, negotiating competitive terms, and providing tailored risk solutions.Salary: £70k - £90k DOELocation: City of LondonWork Structure: HybridWhat the day will look like:* Manage a global client portfolio on both wholesale and retail bases, handling renewals and new business, from crafting effective go-to-market strategies to coordinating placement slips with the support team.* Conduct risk reviews, prepare underwriting presentations, and review insurance documentation produced by the support team to ensure accuracy and consistency.* Drive portfolio growth by building new client relationships, leading pitches, and executing successful tenders.* Manage and develop market relationships in support of the Marine broking strategy, fostering new connections and strengthening existing ones.* Work closely with Marine clients to consistently deliver on global best practices.If you are interested in hearing more about this opportunity, please get in touch.
