Our client's specialises in Real Estate Insurance as well as CAR, PI, Latent Defects and other business insurances.

This role will involve building a book of Real Estate / commercial insurance business and growing the book.

Due to continued growth, our client is currently looking to employ an experienced Insurance Broker with experience in a wide-range of commercial risks including Real Estate/Property insurance.

Salary: £40k to £60k plus (dependant on experience) plus bonus and extensive benefits.

You will ideally have over 3 years plus of experience within a commercial insurance brokerage working with a wide-variety of commercial insurance risks including Real Estate / Property insurance.

This would suit either a current client facing broker or perhaps a current Commercial Account Handler looking for the next step up.

You will be a point of referral to more junior members of the team and you will use your expertise and experience to help with queries and occasional training/mentoring.

You will look to identify opportunities to grow the book through offering relevant cross sales and referral leads.

Main duties in this role:

Responsible for growing a book of Real Estate / commercial clients through new business / arranging policies for new clients
Be a point of referral within the team
Organise daily work to ensure compliance is met at all times
Liaise with Underwriters to help secure the retention (renewals) of clients.
Identify new markets, schemes and other opportunities to help grow the business
Networking / business development

The skills you`ll bring to the role:

Thorough commercial insurance knowledge of at least 3 years in commercial insurance is required with ideally a good understanding of Real Estate / Property insurance.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
