This new position is based within their London headquarters and, due to expansion within the team, they're looking for a Syndicate Technician within their Operations team.Your new roleIn your new job as Syndicate Technician, you will be responsible for producing MRC and binding authority contracts, associated reinsurance contracts and endorsements or other required documentation. You'll be using internal and external tools to ensure that documentation contains the correct clauses, conditions, fees etc for that jurisdiction.Ensuring that documents are peer-reviewed before being sent to the market Liaising extensively with Underwriters and Colleagues daily. Other duties will include monitoring renewals and assisting the Operations Team with ensuring that these are invited and completed on good time. This will include full monitoring of risks (new and renewal) from inception to completion. Inputting & updating policies on in-house and external systems in an accurate and timely manner.What you'll need to succeedYou will have proven experience in the London insurance Market working as a Technician where you have end to end technical experience from premium chasing through to the understanding of MRC Slips. You will be analytical and be able to analyse trends on data within Slips and be able to notice complex trends in the Slips as well as being confident in chasing broker payment. Have a professional approach with an outcome-focused and positive attitude. Flexibility and willingness to take on additional responsibilities and work. Be self-motivated & enthusiastic. Have solid data entry skills with the ability to identify numerical errors.
