Oh, and with a number of individuals retiring in the coming years, there will be some genuine opportunities to progress into a more senior spot in future.As a Marine Broker focusing on the the Ports and Terminals market, you'll have exposures to Marine business coming from various countries with particular emphasis in the US, you'll place risks as they come in through the producer network, build relationships with new and existing Underwriters and even have opportunities to drive enquiries and get stuck in with producing.You'll be an experienced head within a 30+ person team where you will advise clients (and colleagues) on the technicalities of the marine hull market and be able to offer market insightsYou'll have wider marine expertise to lean on as this firm have marine brokers who specialize in other areas such as Marine Hull, Marine Cargo, P&I and Freight Liability, meaning you not only will be working within a nimble, collaborative environment, you'll have infrastructure and service offerings around you that will be first classWhat do you have to offer?Firstly, you'll enjoy the ever evolving world of Ports and Terminals insurance and have experience dealing with clients direct or have helped place wholesale risks on behalf of your producers. You'll have an already strong network of Lloyd's, London and International Underwriters andWhat's on offer?If you're comfortable placing business as it comes it wish to focus on this, you will be offered a base salary in the £60,000 - £90,000 range, however if you have a successful track record of producing also, you could expect a package up to £140,000With the inevitable influx of people open to a new role in January, now is the ideal time to stay ahead of the curve.No CV?
