About the Role: As a DUA Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in managing the companies Delegated Underwriting Authority relationships. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, monitoring performance, and driving operational efficiency within the delegated underwriting programs. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of underwriting operations and contribute to the success of the syndicate.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and assess delegated underwriting agreements to ensure alignment with regulatory guidelines and syndicate standards.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of coverholders and third-party administrators.
  • Conduct regular audits and compliance checks to maintain quality and integrity of delegated underwriting programs.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including underwriters, legal, and compliance teams to optimize processes and mitigate risks.
  • Provide guidance and support to coverholders on underwriting guidelines, policy administration, and claims handling procedures.
  • Analyse data and generate reports to track performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
  • Participate in industry forums and engage with market participants to stay abreast of regulatory changes and best practices in DUA management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Risk Management, or related field.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience in delegated underwriting or insurance operations, preferably within the Lloyd's market.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks relevant to delegated underwriting authorities.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and underwriting systems.
