US Open Market Property Account Handler/ Technician Job, City, working for a Lloyd's BrokerYour new company

Your new company is an Independent Lloyd's based in the City of London. They deliver specialist insurance, reinsurance, and capital markets advisory services. Your highly respected broker is renowned globally for their specialist market knowledge, intelligent analysis, and insight. They are on the hunt for a bright individual to join their International Property team with a focus on US Open Market risks.

Your new role

In your new job you will be developing and maintaining an active role and relationship with clients. You will be dealing with coordinated placement of risks, including production of documentation to assist placement and maintenance throughout the risk life cycle. (Underwriting submissions, market reform contracts, wordings, endorsements). You will demonstrate excellent technical knowledge and the ability to communicate this to various audiences, which will include insurers, retailers, wholesalers, internal and underwriters. You will also be responsible for both front end and back end brokers, back up and technical duties - which will support a small team of producing brokers.

What you'll need to succeed

You will ideally have a minimum of 5 years' experience working as a Broker Technician or Account Handler in the US or International Property space with excellent attention to detail and the ability to plan meticulously. Have excellent persuasive influencing skills. Anticipate problems in advance and make contingencies. Demonstrate the company values of being accountable, entrepreneurial, collaborative, empowering and disciplined. Along with excellent IT and organisational skills.
