Responsibilities:

Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing tailored insurance solutions to meet their needs.

Risk Placement: Assist with Negotiations with underwriters in the Lloyd’s and London Market to place Canadian Casualty risks effectively.

Policy Management: Support senior brokers in preparing and reviewing insurance documentations.

Market Research: Stay up to date on market trends, regulatory developments, and emerging risks within the Canadian Casualty insurance sector.

Compliance: Ensure all placements and documentation adhere to FCA regulations and company policies.

Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues across departments, including claims and technical teams, to deliver a seamless service to clients.

Business Development: Identify opportunities to grow the Canadian Casualty portfolio and contribute to the overall growth of the business.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and underwriters.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work,
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic understanding of insurance principles and practices (preferred).
