Robert Half is partnering up with a global travel insurance company, looking for an Underwriter to join the team.

About the RoleAs an Underwriter, you will be responsible for evaluating and managing travel insurance risks whilst maintaining excellent relationships with brokers and clients. This role offers an excellent opportunity to join an established organisation during an exciting period of growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and evaluate travel insurance applications
  • Determine risk profiles and calculate appropriate premiums
  • Review and process insurance policies in accordance with company guidelines
  • Maintain strong relationships with brokers and clients
  • Support claims evaluation and processing
  • Generate comprehensive underwriting reports
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with underwriting assistants and claims teams
  • Monitor market trends and emerging risks

Essential Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills in French and English
  • 2-3 years' underwriting experience, preferably in travel or personal lines insurance
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities
  • Proven attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Financial services or tourism sector experience advantageous
  • Insurance qualifications beneficial
