My client are a fast-growing Managing General Agent (MGA) specialising in a diverse range of insurance products.
They are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Bordereaux & Claims Operations Assistant to add to their team.
Bordereaux & Claims Operations Assistant - Key duties
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about client service and eager to work at the heart of the insurance industry. You’ll collaborate with underwriters, brokers, TPA’s and other key stakeholders to deliver exceptional service and contribute to our ongoing growth.
Daily duties will include:
Underwriting and Premium Bordereaux Production
Prepare and produce accurate underwriting and premium bordereaux for submission to insurers within required deadlines.
Ensure all data is collated, validated, and formatted in line with insurer requirements.
Liaise with underwriting and operations teams to resolve discrepancies or gaps in data.
Maintain accurate records of all submissions and communications.
Claims Administration:
Log new claims accurately and promptly into the system.
Distribute claims details to Third-Party Administrators (TPAs) and follow up to ensure acknowledgment.
Update claims records regularly to reflect the current status and ensure completeness of data.
Chase outcomes and resolution updates from TPAs and insurers, escalating delays as needed.
Prepare claims bordereaux as required, ensuring data integrity and compliance with reporting standards.
Bordereaux & Claims Operations Assistant - Key requirements
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large volumes of data.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications; experience with bordereaux software is advantageous.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Previous experience working in a Claims/Bordereaux is preferred, but not essential
