We are looking for an ambitious Claims Adjuster who wants to get out from behind their desk, and be much more hands on with clients and stakeholders, with the desire to develop yourself into a market leading Claims Expert.

Joining a respected multidisciplinary team of Lawyers, Accountants and Insurance Professionals, and working with some of the leading commercial insurance businesses across the world, you will develop your specialist expertise to investigate and report on complex claims across the following classes:

  • Professional Indemnity - all classes
  • Financial Institutions
  • Commercial Crime
  • Directors & Officers
  • Cyber

This is a truly exciting opportunity to join a specialist insurance firm, with a track record of developing legal and insurance knowledge and progressing careers.

This position will suit an ambitious Claims Adjuster with a commercial mindset. Ideally, you'll l have a get-up-and-go mentality - willing to throw yourself into all aspects of the business. Not just investigating and reporting on claims, but going out of your way to develop your personal brand in the insurance claims community, and helping the business' marketing efforts. You'll be a "people person".

You will also play a senior role in servicing and developing the company's work on losses emanating across the Spanish speaking world - primarily in South and Central America - so you must be not only willing, but keen, to travel widely and independently.

This appointment will be at Adjuster or Senior Adjuster level, depending on prior experience, with the successful candidate allocated an active caseload. That will be handled under supervision, which will diminish over time, as early professional autonomy is the aim.

Essential Requirements:

  • You must be a Claims Adjuster with experience of handling complex claims.
  • Experience within the insurance sector, ideally Professional & Financial Lines or other relevant classes such as Casualty, Marine and Property, with a focus on specialising in FinPro lines.
  • Perfect written English (report writing is key to this role).
  • Fluent Spanish language skills, both verbal and written.
