We are currently recruiting for a Claims Adjuster on behalf of our client, one of the leading brands in the UK insurance market.

The successful candidate will handle a portfolio of claims predominantly comprised of Marine and Energy Liability, with the scope to handle claims on other business lines as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Handling a portfolio of claims arising from the Marine and Energy Liability underwriting team.
• Assisting the Senior Claims Underwriters and Claims Manager on more complex claims where appropriate.
• Participating in claims lifecycle reviews and driving down the company's static claims volumes and values.
• Working with Brokers to deliver good outcomes for both the company and their clients.
• Working with Underwriters and claims colleagues to add value and build the company's presence internally.
• Contributing to the company's internal improvement workstreams, helping to drive the division forward to become the best claims team in the London Market.

Key Requirements

• At least 3 years experience of handling Marine and/or Energy Liability Claims.
• Working knowledge of ECF.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Good mathematical skills and report writing.
