We are currently recruiting for a Claims Adjuster on behalf of our client, one of the leading brands in the UK insurance market.

Depending on their experience, the successful candidate will handle claims generated from Upstream Energy, Power and Renewables and/or mixed Marine lines (Cargo, Hull & Marine, and Energy Liability).

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly successful and growing insurer, with a wide range of development opportunities on offer.

This is a fixed term contract role covering maternity leave.

Key Responsibilities

• Handling a portfolio of claims across Energy and Marine lines of business.
• Participating in claims lifecycle reviews and driving down the company's static claims volumes and values.
• Working with Brokers to deliver good outcomes for both the company and their clients.
• Working with Underwriters and claims colleagues to add value and build the company's presence internally.
• Contributing to the company's internal improvement workstreams, helping to drive the division forward to become the best claims team in the London Market.

Key Requirements

• At least 3 years experience of handling Marine and/or Energy Liability Claims.
• Working knowledge of ECF.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Good mathematical and report writing skills.
