Claims Adjuster to £45,000

For a candidate with claims experience looking to move into the Lloyds market or someone with some Lloyd's claims experience looking to develop their career this could be an ideal opportunity to join one of the highest performing Lloyd's Underwriters. A graduate level of education would be preferred but candidates with strong A levels (or equivalent) would also be considered. The company is looking for a candidate keen to secure a long term career and pursue professional qualifications (ACII).

Duties:

Assist in handling claims across various classes of business, with an initial focus on property claims.

Assist the Senior Claims Adjuster responsible for property claims to ensure all claims are properly managed, processed and settled in compliance with policy terms and conditions, and within a pre-determined authority limit.

Ensure all claims are accurately reserved wherever required, adhering to company reserving guidelines.

Provide support to the Senior Claims Adjusters during the quarterly reserving process.

Build and maintain professional relationships with brokers, loss adjusters, and industry peers within the claims market.

Develop strong working relationships with Underwriters, the management team, and other internal departments.

Ensure all company, market, and client-related documentation is prepared and issued accurately and punctually.

Help ensure claims systems are kept up to date in a timely manner, including effective diary management.

Operate as an effective team member by supporting colleagues and contributing to the delivery and achievement of the claims team and business objectives.
