We are proud to partner with an exciting, growing and dynamic Lloyd's Syndicate to recruit a Claims Analyst.

The successful candidate will assist the Claims team in delivering a robust TPA oversight, and optimise team efficiency by delivering Data, MI and insights on TPA and Claims Department performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manipulating third party data and providing analysis of claims in order to highlight trends, performance issues, leakage, costs spend, litigation, and fraud.
  • Assisting with building a performance framework.
  • Helping to enhance the company's claims analytical offering.
  • Gathering and generating KPIs and MI reports for claims monitoring purposes and analysis.
  • Improving the quality of data received from third parties.
  • Handling the management and reconciliation of loss funds, and assisting with Lloyd's market funding initiatives.
  • Identifying opportunities to streamline and improve claims processes.
  • Leading the design of claims bordereaux templates and writing specifications.
  • Handling claims data entry, specifically for internally managed claims when required.
  • Supporting the Head of Claims in relation to claims initiatives and projects.
  • Assisting with creating effective reports, selecting essential, relevant criteria and information and passing this on to Claims Managers and Underwriters.
  • Collaborating continuously with Underwriters to help them gain and retain profitable business.

Key Requirements

  • Candidates will ideally have previous experience within a claims data analytics role.
  • Knowledge of London Market DA Claims operations / procedures and/or Claims TPA knowledge, and the principles of risk management.
  • ACII (or equivalent) qualified, or progressing towards qualification.
  • Advanced literacy and numerical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
