OVERVIEW 

We are seeking a professional and detail-oriented Claims Analyst to join our clients Claims department. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating and resolving low to medium complexity claims in compliance with industry regulations and internal procedures. This role involves interacting with clients, brokers, and experts to ensure high-quality customer service and contribute to achieving financial targets.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Proactively assess and resolve assigned claims in accordance with instructions from the Claims Manager.
  • Handle claims in compliance with policy terms and internal/external claim handling procedures.
  • Maintain comprehensive claims records and prepare accurate reports.
  • Identify trends and risks in claims caseload and assist with managing specific claims portfolios.
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach to acquiring the skills and experience necessary for career advancement.

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Above average oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work in a changing environment and meet short deadlines.
  • Critical analysis and learning agility.
  • Strong teamwork and independent work capabilities.
  • Demonstrated financial responsibility.

DAY-TO-DAY 

  • The Claims Analyst will assess and resolve claims, maintain records, prepare reports, and collaborate with team members to deliver high levels of service to customers.
