About the role

Specialising in the exciting and fast-moving transport and logistics sector (including haulage and motor/fleet), you’ll be managing a varied range of claims. This will involve working closely with clients, insurers and brokers to deliver effective solutions and ensuring the best outcomes for them. You’ll be responsible for claim assessments, negotiations, and client communications.

Key responsibilities include:

Efficiently managing claims and claims files, ensuring compliance with internal standards.

Negotiating settlements and providing clear, professional communication with clients, brokers, and insurers. 

This is a hybrid working position, requiring just two days a week in offices in either the bustling and friendly city of Leicester – bursting with heritage, sport and culture – or the well-connected Midlands town of Northampton, nestling in the very heart of England.

You’ll need to be a great communicator as you’ll collaborate frequently with colleagues in other teams, need to build strong relationships across the industry, and represent the company at external events.

To thrive, you’ll bring proven experience in broking or insurance, with specific expertise in transport and logistics. Candidates will need to demonstrate a strong understanding of the claims process and excellent communication skills. 

Cert CII qualifications (or willingness to work towards)
