About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Claims Handler to join a dynamic team within a fast-paced insurance environment. This role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of claims while contributing to the seamless delivery of service excellence. The position is hybrid, requiring one day per week in the City of London office, with the flexibility of remote work for the remainder of the week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a portfolio of claims across various lines of business, ensuring timely and efficient resolution.
  • Liaising with brokers, clients, and third parties to gather required documentation and provide regular updates on claim progress.
  • Reviewing and analyzing policy wordings to assess coverage and liability.
  • Coordinating with underwriters and other internal stakeholders to ensure claims are handled within agreed service levels.
  • Preparing detailed claims reports and maintaining accurate records in claims management systems.
  • Identifying trends or issues in claims data and contributing to process improvements.
  • Staying informed of market trends, regulatory changes, and industry best practices.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in claims handling, within the London Market.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance principles and claims processes.
  • Familiarity with ECF and CLASS systems
  • LATAM exposure - Advantageous
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • High level of attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively in a hybrid work environment.
